So, this is my local Chinese Takeaway - at first we avoided going - we'd only moved a short distance, and like with most things, you pick favourites. So, for nearly a year we drove the mile and a half down the road to our favourite. Then, one day, we just couldn't be bothered with the trip and settled for this.
The moral of this tale is, that like an idiot, I went nearly a year without this in my life.
We've tried quite a few of the dishes here and can't find fault with any of them. Some of our favourites, dishes I highly recommend, are Duck in Black Pepper sauce, Beef in Black Bean, Crispy Chilli Beef and Sweet Chilli Chicken. Not exactly unique dishes, but really good examples!
The starters are good as well, with some more traditional gems in there too - if you go along, I'd suggest either of the two types of dumpling. They're brilliant.
The staff are really friendly, remember our usual order, ask how my partner is doing if they're not with me and are happy to make suggestions if you're in the mood for something new!
